Peter PrichardPeter Prichard has been reading books with the name Prichard on them since he was a teenager and was first given the book Researches into the Physical History of Mankind written by James Cowles Prichard in 1826. Almost every book he has read by his ancestors has involved helping readers understand something about the world in which they live and how that information can help them live a more informed life.

The recent publication of his third book, and first non-fiction effort, Have a Positive Impact During Uncertain Times continues in the family tradition. This timely book provides dozens of suggestions, self-assessment exercises, resources and links to data that helps readers understand how they can have a positive impact on those around them, those in their community, state, place of employment, country and world. These resources include free assessments like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Career Anchors profile, the ability to identify your resilience profile, understanding the mental predisposition of Olympic level athletes as it relates to the success of regular individuals, and an exercise that provides insight into one’s emotional intelligence and how to apply that learning to positive impact actions.

We hope you gain meaningful information from this site and the book and the reason for that is captured in the quote that ends the book.

“I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of individuals to elevate their life by conscious endeavor.”
Henry David Thoreau
